NEW BLOG

As you many have noticed my blogging has morphed into photo journaling, and I feel that my "What's Next" theme no longer is fitting my posts. I have started a new blog called Light Ramblings. If (all 4 of you) wish to continue following me, here is the link.

And with that, I have now moved on to what's next!

Bucket List #7 Test Drive A New Car

Yesterday J and I went out to the auto mall so I could check another thing off my bucket list. We are not looking to buy a new car, but thought it would be fun to check out the new 4 door Jeep Wrangler.

Maybe by the time we are ready to buy, these will have come down in price, have the bigger engine and better gas millage.... what, can't a girl dream?

Bucket List #6 Slurpee

I have never had a Slurpee, so I thought it would be good to put on my 20's bucket list. And since it is 7/11/11 I thought it would be a fitting day to go get one. I found out that on 7/11 each year 7-eleven stores always give out free slurpees. They were out of the free size by the time we got there this evening, but for $1.80 I figured it was a still worth it.

Weekend of the 4th at The Ranch

We went to the ranch for the 4th. Here are the pictures.

Dad driving Jake and Abby

The morning of the 4th I washed Jake and Abby and J and I did a hayride with Dad. Later our friends L and K came over. L and I went ridding, and for old time sake, went on the rope swing. We had a great time reminiscing about our days slaving away at the ranch. Later Mom had a bunch of people over and we all made our own Pasties and had a great dinner outside followed by some of Mom's best ever homemade ice cream.

Dad asked J and I to help with the fireworks this year which is always a lot of fun, and I think the show went well. I heard the lower half of the parking lot was all full this year. I don't have any pictures because I was too busy lighting them off, but I do have one of the neighbors fireworks here in Vancouver from a few days before.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th!

Malad City Idaho

J and I made a quick trip to Idaho this week to see my naturopath and one evening we met my best friend Jenn in Malad City for dinner. It was a beautiful evening and we drove to the reservoir and walked while we visited. Just thought I would post the pictures I took while there.
